Awbury Arboretum | What’s happening in Philadelphia

Awbury Arboretum

Awbury Arboretum is a 56-acre greenspace in the historic Germantown neighborhood of Northwest Philadelphia. Once the private home of an extended Quaker family, Awbury Arboretum has been open to the public as a public park for over 100 years. Nature, history, and community intersect at Awbury. Our grounds are free and open to the public every day, dawn to dusk. The Awbury Arboretum is a leader in providing environmental science education to children and green jobs training to young adults in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia and surrounding areas. We are fast becoming the 'go-to' resource for urban sustainability, ecological land and water management, and urban farming.
