A new, free immersive experience inspired by DreamWorks Animation’s beloved How to Train Your Dragon franchise and brought to life by Comcast, Universal Destinations & Experiences, and DreamWorks Animation.
Blending cinematic storytelling with interactive elements, this 15-minute experience transports guests from Philadelphia to the Isle of Berk, where they will have the opportunity to train as Dragon Riders alongside characters from the How to Train Your Dragon franchise, including Hiccup, Toothless, Astrid, and Stormfly.
The Universal Sphere is a dome theater attraction located in the Comcast Technology Center’s upper lobby and features inspiring stories and adventures for audiences of all ages.
Opening to the public on Wednesday, May 27, the DreamWorks How to Train Your Dragon: Flight Academy experience will run through Friday, November 20, 2026, with extended hours for the summer. The experience is available in American Sign Language, French, German, Hindi, Mandarin, Portuguese, and Spanish.
