This First Friday, come out to the Science History Institute to celebrate Nobel Prize Week, the first full week in October when the winners of one of the most coveted science awards are announced.

Throughout the evening guests may visit various activity tables within the gallery to answer Nobel Prize related trivia. Chat with the museum educators to discover the history and science related to the science prizes.
Highlights Tour: What’s Behind a Nobel Prize
At 6:15pm join curator of instruments and artifacts Roger Turner for a brief tour that reveals What’s Behind a Nobel Prize.
Roger’s playful tour will uncover the hidden people and the unique scientific instruments behind Nobel Prize winners Bruce Merrifield and John B. Fenn. While the Nobel Prize turns a select few into celebrities, guests will leave with the understanding that scientific research is a team game.
