Holiday Wreath-Making Workshop

Join Riverbend staff for the first event in our Sustainable Living Series to learn how to remove invasive vines and turn them into something beautiful. We’ll begin the workshop outside with some easy-to-follow instructions on removing invasive vines like English Ivy and five-leaf akebia. Clippers and work gloves will be provided. Next we’ll turn the vines into wonderful seasonal decorations to enjoy or give as gifts.

We’ll begin the workshop outside with some easy-to-follow instructions on removing invasive vines like English Ivy and five-leaf akebia. Clippers and work gloves will be provided. Next we’ll move inside Riverbend’s barn to turn the vines into a decoration you can enjoy in your own home or gift to a loved one.
Every participant will receive a wooden wreath frame and have access to tools and supplies to craft their very own one-of-a-kind wreath.
Registration is required for all participants. The fee to attend is $10 per person.
