Japanese for Teens: Home & Habits (Speaking and Listening)

This fall, jump headfirst into the fundamentals of Japanese language and culture. Practice essential everyday phrases and vocabulary, then use them in basic conversations about topics drawn from everyday life.
Course content will cover Marugoto (Katsudoo) lessons 7 to 10, which includes:
- Describing your home
- Visiting and welcoming someone
- Explaining when you do something
- Describing your daily routine and weekly schedule
- Scheduling an event
In addition, students will learn the 46 katakana characters.
About Japanese for Teens: Teens are invited to start their Japanese language learning journey with these online courses designed just for them! Students will practice the fundamentals of Japanese language and learn about Japanese culture with a group of like-minded peers. Using a variety of fun and engaging activities centered around topics drawn from daily life, they’ll develop practical listening, speaking, reading, writing and cultural skills to kick-start their Japanese language abilities!
With different formats to choose from, such as our Speaking & Listening classes that follow the Marugoto textbook and special Writing Workshops, students can pick the way they want to learn.
