Wondering if a Sam's Club membership is worth it? Here's a closer look at some of the benefits you can take advantage of upon joining.
- Curbside pickup: Sam's Club members can take advantage of free curbside pickup for orders of $50 or more.
- 'Scan & Go' shopping: Members who prefer to shop in person can take advantage of the retailer's Scan & Go feature to speed up their trip. Once you've arrived at your local club, open the Sam’s Club app and click the Scan & Go icon at the bottom of your screen. Each time you grab an item to purchase, scan the barcode to add it to your virtual cart as well. When you’re finished shopping, slide the bar to pay in the app. This way, you can skip checkout lines and head to the door with your digital receipt.
- Access to members-only sale events: Sam's Club regularly runs "Instant Savings" events with exclusive discounts for members.
- Fuel discounts: High gas prices have nothing on you! Save when you fill up your car at select locations.
- Complimentary membership: Once you join, a household member can sign up for free. That's two memberships for half the price of one!

Sam's Club is running a variety of limited-time offers for both Club and Plus members Sept. 10 through Sept. 30.
- Refer a Friend and get $10 Sam's Cash for every friend you refer!
- $50 credit offer: When members open a new credit account and use it to shop at Sam’s Club within the first 30 days, they can earn a $50 statement credit.
- Upgrade offers: When Club members upgrade to Plus while visiting a Sam’s Club location, they can score $20 off their purchase. If Club members opt to upgrade to Plus online, they can get $20 to spend online or in-club.
- Pharmacy offer: When members get a flu shot or a COVID shot in-club they can get $5 off their basket.
- Sam’s Cash offers: First time users of Scan & Go, Curbside Pickup and Delivery from Club will get $10 back. Shoppers who spend $50 or more on clothing and/or footwear can get up to $30.
