Kwanzaa Celebration at Please Touch Museum

Celebrate the rich traditions and principles of Kwanzaa at Please Touch Museum. Families can create a painting of a Kwanzaa table in the Creative Arts Studio and join Mister Boom Boom in the theater where he will perform two interactive programs centered on bringing rhythm, culture, and creativity with his African drum circle. Each show features authentic West African hand drums, including the djembe, talking drum, and shekere — all hand-crafted instruments that children get to play during and after the show.
