Mighty Monarch Day - At Brandywine Zoo

Come dressed in your best orange and black attire as we showcase monarch butterflies all day!
They’ve spent their summer in Delaware and are now fluttering their way to Mexico. Learn about the journey and other interesting facts of this amazing insect that is now officially endangered.
We’ll have Master Naturalists and Gardeners on hand (possibly with live insects!), story book readings, BBQ and ice cream! Plus, members of the Lenape Tribe of DE will be here to teach us how monarch butterflies and all aspects of nature should be a notable part of our daily lives.
