Mural Arts Philadelphia Presents Monument Lab: Sample Philly
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 11/19/2017
See Philadelphia artist Kara Crombie’s monument, Sample Philly, on display at Franklin Square. The artwork, part of Mural Arts Philadelphia’s citywide project, Monument Lab, is inspired by free arts and music education in Philadelphia and contains a sound bank of musical loops drawn from Philadelphia’s rich musical history.
Visitors are encouraged to take part in a learning lab stationed near the monument to design or describe their own visions for monuments that represent Philadelphia.
