Second Saturdays at Cliveden

Come to Cliveden on Saturday, June 8, 2024 for our Second Saturday programming, from 10:30am to 4pm!
The day begins with the Spotlight Tour, the Cliveden Property Walking Tour, at 10:30am. Visitors will explore the historic bounds of the Cliveden property and learn how the property has changed over 400 years. The tour will take approximately an hour and a half and cover 1.5 miles. There will be times to stop and sit during the walk. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a drink if needed. General admission for the walking tour is $20; $10 for residents in the 19119 and 19144 zip codes. Advanced registration through our website is required: https://cliveden.org/property-walking-tour/.
Free house tours will be available on June 8th, from 12pm to 4pm, beginning on the hour. The last tour of the day is at 3pm. House tours begin in the Cliveden Barn located at 98 E. Cliveden Street, 19119 and visitors should arrive at the Barn prior to the start of a tour. Each tour is an hour experience and includes our current exhibit The Turmoil of Transition: The mid-nineteenth century at Cliveden, the grounds, first and second floor of the house and the 1767 Kitchen Dependency.
At 12:30pm, join Cliveden staff for Object Investigator, a free, 30-minute, interactive guided experience for young children and their caregivers that explores an object from the past.
